Springfield Resident Confused Bassoon For Gun

Springfield, Ohio – Ok, this manipulation of the public by news media and anti-gunners needs to stop right now. It’s firmly gone out of control. A Springfield resident called 911 on April 5 because they thought a neighbor had a gun. It was a bassoon …a musical instrument…you know, one that makes sounds other than “pew pew pew.”

Eric Barga teaches bassoon at his old high school, Kenton Ridge High School. After he completed his teaching for the day, he drove to Covenant Presbyterian Church in preparation for bell choir practice. But he was about a half hour early, as practice usually started at 6:30 p.m..

So, he sat on the hood of his car and just started playing scales. You know, the “doe ray me” kind of thing, also definitely not “pew pew pew.”

But someone called 911 and told officers there was a white male with a rifle sitting on his trunk in front of the church.

That's one mighty big gun. Never saw one where you blow out the bullets like that.

Yes, Bazookas are very common these days. Was he looking for tanks?

Any patrolling group of patriot protectors, armed as provided by the Second Amendment, would have had the expertise, certainly, of distinguishing even from a distance that the object was not a firearm.
However, news stories have people frightened, and the absence of these patriot patrols leaves them feeling that anyone who does show up with a firearm is probably dangerous. In addition, not may people have the avid, even visceral, interest in firearms that would lead them to educate themselves enough to know an oboe from a .50 M107. When they see someone with something unusual in a sensitive site, they are certain to err on the side of prudence.
All the more reason for those patriot patrols, to sooth people's sensitivities and show them the rational reason for owning all those firearms. Call it community action, solidarity, education. Where are they?

Thank you for admitting that liberals are stupid as fuk!

Hey a Bassoon or Oboe are the best two instruments to play if you want a full college scholarship, just FYI.

Every college orchestra needs them and nobody plays them, hard to learn, very expensive instrument, and un-cool too. So if a few of his students get full rides to play in the orchestra, kick-ass.
