BREAKING: President Biden racks up a major win as the board of the Alliance for Retired Americans officially endorses him for reelection — citing his enormous accomplishments as president as their rationale.
The grassroots group has 4 million members and advocates for retired Americans. They praised Biden for all that he has done to improve the live of seniors during his first term in office.
"Everything is at stake for seniors in this election," said Robert Roach Jr., president of the organization. "Our members know how to get things done, and will be talking with their friends and family about the Biden-Harris record, making calls, knocking on doors and ensuring people know when and where to vote. They are going to work enthusiastically every day to help keep the President and Vice President in the White House."
The alliance was particularly pleased with Biden's signing of the historic Inflation Reduction Act, which allows the government to negotiate lower drug prices under Medicare and capped the cost of insulin.
The group is also supportive of President Biden's valiant efforts to battle junk fees.
"He’s a proven leader. Someone that we know will support us and will never cut Social Security," said Linda Somo, president of the Arizona chapter. "We can count on him to be our advocate."
Given that seniors are one of the most reliable voting demographics in American politics, this is a big win for Biden. These people will show up en masse on election day and help to turn the tide against MAGA fascism.
