BREAKING: Connecticut's superstar Democratic Governor Ned Lamont announces that his state will cancel a staggering $650 million in medical debt for 250,000 residents this year.

This incredible decision will make Connecticut the first state to provide this kind of debt relief — and hopefully set an example for other states.

Lamont stated that this move will free citizens from "the cloud" hanging over their heads and perhaps give them the financial freedom to finally buy a house, start a business, or better their education.

"It’s a debt that you had no control over," said Lamont. "It’s not like you overspent. You get hit by a health care calamity."

Residents with medical debt amounting to 5% or more of their income or whose household income is up to 400% of the federal poverty line are eligible.

The best part? Eligible residents do not need to apply for the debt relief, they'll receive letters in the mail informing them the debt has been eliminated.

Not surprisingly, MAGA Republicans are enraged by this new measure because they hate all forms of debt relief — just like they viciously fought Biden's efforts to forgive student debt.

Do you support this measure?
