One great example this election cycle is Project 2025, they've done their level best to turn it into a boogie man and then tie it to Trump. Whenever those in power presume to dictate what is and what is not acceptable speech for political purposes, when there is a dedicated and concerted effort to suppress all information other than what those in power want us to believe, what they insist is truth, we are only a stone's throw away from totalitarianism.
