Pope Francis May be Forced to Speak Out on Queer Marriage.

From The National Catholic Reporter comes this article Francis may get another shot on same-sex unions | National Catholic Reporter about the possibility of Italy approving “civil unions” [new faux identity of gay marriage]. It refers to Francis' statement while in Argentina and wonders what his true colors are on this.

Here's what he wrote in July 2010:

"Let us not be naive: this is not simply a political struggle, but it is an attempt to destroy God's plan," he wrote then. "It is not just a bill but a move of the Father of Lies, who seeks to confuse and deceive the children of God."

It'll be interesting to watch.
