There are some groups such as possibly the Mormons and a few others who are against any form of birth control…
Do you know how many Catholics and Mormons take birth control even though their religion considers it a sin? A lot.
Mormons don't have much of a problem with birth control. We are encouraged to marry, and to “be fruitful and multiply”, and so to some degree, birth control is seen somewhat negatively; but not to nearly the same degree or for anything similar to the same reasons that the Catholic church opposes birth control.
And few of us would see it as a direct violation of our moral and ethical principles to have a hand in providing birth control to others.
That said, I think I understand the Catholic position on this matter, and though I do not fully agree with it, I support the right of the Catholic church to take that position, and of any faithful member of the Catholic faith not to be compelled by law to violate it. There simply is no “right” for anyone to be provided with birth control at someone else's expense, that comes anywhere close to matching the right of a Catholic to not be forced to violate his sincerely held religious and moral beliefs.
