Real Americans are suing Biden

From Joe Caldwell

According to the National Science Foundation, using 2012-2018 data from the Texas Department of Public Safety, undocumented immigrants have substantially lower crime rates than native-born citizens and legal immigrants across a range of felony offenses.

US-born citizens are over 2 times more likely to be arrested for violent crimes, 2.5 times more likely to be arrested for drug crimes, and over 4 times more likely to be arrested for property crimes than undocumented immigrants.

Additionally, the proportion of arrests involving undocumented immigrants in Texas was relatively stable or decreasing over the 2012-2018 period.

After the tax reductions of 2017 the economy expanded until the 3rd quarter of 2019. At that point we reached essentially full employment and the economy stalled with a growth rate below 2.5%.

Additionally, 10-year projections by the Bureau of Labor Statistics indicate that the U.S. growth during the post Covid-19 recovery period will be “labor-force limited.”

According to recently published work by George Mason University, the U.S population in the absence immigration would fall to about 325 million by 2060, the portion of the population in the working force would fall to about 57%, and GDP would be about $32 trillion, which is 27% less than with current levels of immigration.

Scenarios with a more robust immigration policy invariably gave much better results.
Without a robust, immigration policy the United States is destined to become smaller, older, and poorer.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Not only do undocumented immigrants have about half the crime rate of citizens, but they also play a greater role in improving the economy in this country, since they are willing to work harder for less, pay more taxes, and get no benefits.

That doesn't excuse for being a criminal entering the country illegally.

They do that BECAUSE they are undocumented aliens, it is how they stay in the country longer by taking what they can get to stay invisible from the police longer.

Your excuse is pathetic.

Illegal entry is a misdemeanor.

Actually it is not a crime to come to the US without going through legal channels, but only a regulatory infraction, like a parking ticket.
That is because it is historically normal for people to come and go as they want.
And remember that when we bought states from Mexico, the treaties demanded open borders.
If we renege, then those states could revert back to Mexico.

The Republicans cannot afford to have this issue go away.

The number of unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. peaked in 2007 and has declined ever since. It is now only about 3% of the U.S. population.

But the Republicans have fed and nurtured this issue to the point that the average American citizen believes that most of our problems flow from this tiny population, including crime, poverty, unemployment, and election issues.

All of these beliefs are, of course, counterfactual. Unauthorized immigrants have lower crime rates, pay taxes in excess of their cost burdens, and essentially never vote.

At the end of the day however, this misperception creates too many votes for the Republicans, for them to ever settle the issue.

Can atleast show proof from a unbiased and credible source with the actual facts to back it up.

And no, unauthorized immigrants don't pay taxes. And no, no one believes most of our problems come from them, everyone knows they are one of many problems.

And no it has not been on the decline since and if you actually read pretty much any news the past year it has increased a metric shit ton.

Is Crossing the Border a Felony?: 8 U.S. Code § 1325 & Other Immigration Laws

Excerpt:

Unlawful Entry, Reentry, or Presence Crimes

Improper entry and repeat offenses were outlined in 8 U.S. Code § 1325, but there are a few other laws that lay out more specifics of what lawful presence is and what penalties come with violating it. In the next section, 8 U.S. Code § 1326, there are more punishments outlined for aggravating circumstances, especially those in which the immigrant had already been removed from the country. This law applies to those who have “been denied admission, excluded, deported, or removed or has departed the United States while an order of exclusion, deportation, or removal is outstanding,” and makes it a felony for them to enter, attempt to enter, or be in the U.S. It does provide several exceptions, including special permission from the Attorney General. A basic violation of this law can result in up to two years in prison, a fine, or both.

Defined under 8 U.S. Code § 1325, improper entry occurs when an individual enters, or even attempts to enter, the U.S. at a time or place that isn’t designated by immigration officers, avoids being inspected by immigration officers, or uses willfully untrue or misleading information in order to enter the U.S. under false pretenses. This means that attempting to cross the border at any place other than a border inspection point or other official port of entry is illegal. This also includes going through a legal port of entry but hiding from border patrol in order to avoid detection. Using fake entry documents or providing false information in order to unlawfully obtain entry documents may also be charged as improper entry."
