Will the Europeans be able to contain this or will they let is spread to the rest of the world?

Historically, nothing bad has ever happened with the German economy tanks.
 
Europeans despise Trump so much they'd like to export their recession to America in an attempt to hurt Trump in the 2020 election.
 
The Fed is still lowering interest rates. The US is not anywhere near a recession (2 consecutive quarters of negative GDP)
Unemployment is at 3.5%, which is basically full employment.
I'm not worried about a recession in the US, no matter which country has one.
Its disappointing that some progs are rooting for a recession, where the middle and lower incomes get hurt the most?!
