The greasy spoon is still closed, it's website hacked to read it specializes in erectile dysfunction, and was recently covered in chicken feces by an irate observer. The awnings and windows are still filthy and Stephanie was kicked out of the neighborhood merchant's association and has gone into hiding. MAGA!

The man who threw the chicken dung was arrested.

Protestors came from out of town and went online to attack other restaurants.

The far-right is wa-aaay more unhinged than the far-left.

Facts --->>> In Red Hen aftermath, a community wades through nation's vitriol
Things have gone way to far. It should have ended when the guy was fired.

Why? Because you say so? We have a right in this country to demonstrate peacefully, they can picket that restaurant 24/7for the next 100 years and I’m fine with it, it is a person’s right. The violence, the disrespect, the flinging of crap is wrong, the rest is acceptable and fine because freedom of expression is the law of the land.
That is what I am referring to.

Gotcha, my apologies, I misunderstood.

There hasn't been any "violence" outside the Red Hen, nor has the place been "vandalized"...If it had it would lead every commie news broadcast from now till November. I thought the chickenshit drop was hilarious symbolism. We're tired of Sarah being picked on by these lepers....that's the long and short of it. I've enjoyed this thread immensely and thank everybody but the haters and liars for participating in it.

Funny, I don’t recall liberals threatening to vandalize that restaurant

That's because it was such a non-event and wasn't on anyone's radar. People refuse to participate in campaigns sometimes even if they agree with them.

There have been many cases of liberal vandalism over the years. Last year the big thing was vandalizing southern war heroes monuments.
Fake news

Oh, the anarchists, I'm not an anarchist.

Protests is a way of drawing and demonstrating support for like minded individuals or to raise an issue say gay rights or taxation to the public. The right and left and even non political groups have had demonstrates to promote their cause. It's part of the democratic process.

I'm not sure why anyone would get the squirts over a protest or demonstration just for the sake of it. What it's usually about is people such as yourself looking for an excuse to insult people you don't agree with.

Let's give it a test, did Glenn Beck piss you off when he had his tax day protest? Did the white nationalists piss you off too? I'd like to see your posts condemning that protest.

It is a great thing to protest against excessive taxation. In fact our country was founded on the protest against unfair taxes and taking away the right to keep and bear arms. However, when you protest for all the wrongs things like Socialism and hate America bullshit then all that does is make you an asshole.

You have the right in this country to be an asshole but we also have the right to ridicule you for it.

There are no wrong Red Hens. How does it feel libbies for many people to suffer consequences from your fu**ed up actions???

Adam Smith was the name of the "asshole" in the Chick Fil A drive thru.

But this man was just doing what he was egged on to do, by the Left.

Who 'on the left'? Give examples, be specific..

The LGBTQQAAI community, the legendary Gay Mafia, was encouraging everyone to protest against Chick Fil A for their homophobia.

And you're blaming the white-nationalists for running over protesters I assume.
there is no factual way to prove he was. is there? he was just an evil human being.

Good for you to take a step back.
Back where?

And you're blaming the white-nationalists for running over protesters I assume.

Not at all, I blame CNN as well as the City of Charlottesville for that.

Mr. Fields was just a weak mind in his mum's Ohio basement, and got baited out by CNN's coverage of the event.

He wasn't a member of any "white nationalist" or any other group. Charlottesville's failure to keep the warring parties apart was the cause of the violence. Barricades keeping the 2 groups of combatants at least 150 yards apart would have saved grief and allowed everyone to go home in one piece.

The lengths some will go to, to defend white nationalists.
Aren’t they allowed to exist? Aren’t we the freedom country with free speech? Why do you think you get to shut them up? Hmm?

Anything that has White in front of it is sinister and bigoted and anything with Black or Illegal is noble and misunderstood

When is the local newspaper "The News Gazette" going to close out of embarrassment after the editor claimed that "people have the right to refuse service to someone they have a political disagreement with". Don't believe me? It's a weekly paper and it ain't hard to google it up.

Pretty much every real restaurant near me is closed on Mondays. Pretty common.

Hey peckerbreath until you prove your statement or provide a particular area of what is "near me", you're spreading bullshit... Give me the region, and I will be happy to prove you wrong...
Hey faggot, it’s common practice and common knowledge. I’m not going provide for you a region or list of restaurants. Stop eating at Luby’s and try some real food.
Fast food places are open on Monday. That could be the confusion. (-:

We used to have this really good local fried chicken place "the Little Red Hen." It was family owned and they got old and the current generation of kids wasn't interested so it became .... wait for it...... a greek yiro placed run by an chain immigrant family!

Typically, smaller restaurants close on Monday. Chains and larger restaurants do not. The whole argument has been a joke.

So, when Biden is told not to show up at an establishment due to differing political views it's crickets but Sarah Huckabee Sanders has to stuff her face someplace else and all hell breaks loose.

An owner deciding to not wanting his business to be used for a political event is the same as denying a private citizen service based on their job? You have some very strange views.

Red Hen laid a huge egg. Staff called owner asking what to do because a customer came in with her family and it was a well known customer. Now staff doesn't have a job any more for their stupidity. As I said before..I would have fired them all if I was the owner. But no. Owner is as stupid as her staff.
She has been punished enough for that stupidity. Leave her be. Maybe she will wake the fuck up.
yea we need to quit thinking people always need to be punished. just livin in some drastic times
chick-fil-a was targeted, Hobby Lobby was targeted, it seems the only time there is an outrage is if the left is targeted. too fking stupid. why all the hate at a christian company. never saw this behavior from restaurants with obammy, why are you always backing the left? I thought you had more brains then that.

The only time there is an outrage? Aren't you guys throwing a wingding about this right now?

Chick-fil-a and Hobby Lobby took political stances and those stances were met with boycotts. In some cases there were also some assholes who did stupid things to like that guy who lost his job for being a dick in the drive through. But I don't see a problem with boycotting, Boycott the Red Hen, just stop treating this like some sort of national threat.
well yes we are, why do you supposed? have you even thought about that? I just posted the reason stupid.

You don't really have a reason. Did you cry yourself to sleep when Biden was told he wouldn't be served at an eating establishment?

Didn't happen.

But this man was just doing what he was egged on to do, by the Left.

Who 'on the left'? Give examples, be specific.

And afterwards, after he got canned, the libs just threw this weak minded doofus under the bus.

There was no bus to throw him under, literally nobody cared about the guy.

The libs were the cause of Smith acting stupid, he thought he'd be celebrated.

Your post is on repeat.

Thrown under the bus, just like Buy-a-lick (the blonde who lied about the Pizza God Father, Herman Cain) and Levi Johnston ( the baby's daddy that turned on the Palins).

How far do you think you can throw that kitchen sink anyway? Is this where I come back with right wing assholes who have been fired from their jobs and then we can go back and forth on that edging further off topic? Douche.
heh this being mr "do you really need a link" in same thread. :)

I'm actually surprised you didn't know about this.

Remembering when a baker turned away Joe Biden and received praise from conservatives - NY Daily News

Right. Never refused to serve Biden as an individual. Just refused to let them use his business for a political event.

if fake snopes would have busted it out by now.

Wilkinson did not organize a picket or protest against Sanders's family, nor did she personally picket or protest them. Apart from one person's briefly holding up a sign, no protest or picket against the family of Sarah Huckabee Sanders took place.

Full story..
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/huckabee-sanders-red-hen-protest/
but wilkerson mustvhave followed over or the 2nd encounter snopes talks about couldnt have happened to be written as such.

so wilkerson did follow.

Not necessarily. It's a small town, Wilkerson could have been going elsewhere and that 2nd encounter could have been entirely by chance. In any event, there was no harassment, by Wilkerson at least. Which leads me to Mike Huckabee.

I've always liked Huckabee, but this incident bothers me. He wasn't there of course, so his version is 2nd hand but somebody added some embellishment. Sanders and her husband weren't there either, so one assumes it was another member of the Sanders crowd who was none too pleased with being asked to leave the Red Hen. Somebody took the story and blew it up way out of proportion and sold it to Mike, who bought it hook, line, and sinker. To my mind that means somebody in the Huckabee clan.

Is the Snopes version correct? I think so, yes. But just about everybody concerned comes out of this looking like shit, except maybe Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who to me was the adult in the whole sorry mess. And somebody went out of their way to make Wilkerson look bad, more than she deserved IMHO. Okay, so she asked Sanders to leave and that wasn't good, but that's the extent of her involvement if the Snopes story is true. Do I care who that person is? Nah, but if I'm Mike Huckabee I find out what the absolute truth was and if Wilkerson has been falsely maligned (by him) then he needs to apologize for that.
read the snopes writeup.

as written she at least followed to new place otherwise why call out she didnt hold up a sign. just say she never went.

From the Snopes link:

An individual with firsthand knowledge of the events following the Sanders family’s departure from the Red Hen told us that the group subsequently went to a nearby restaurant called the Southern Inn. At some point in the evening members of the group encountered Wilkinson outside on the street, but it’s not clear whether Wilkinson followed them there or simply happened to be passing by. (We sent Wilkinson a series of questions relating to the events of that evening but did not receive a response.)

The Southern Inn is not across the street from the Red Hen, although it is a few hundred feet away on Main Street (Lexington’s primary thoroughfare), meaning that Wilkinson could have incidentally bumped into the Sanders family on her way to somewhere else.

The person with whom we spoke insisted that no protest and no commotion took place, and that Wilkinson did not orchestrate any picket against the Sanders family. According to that person, for a brief moment a member of the public held up a sign outside the Southern Inn which bore the word “Shame,” but that sign appeared to have been hastily put together on the spot. This incident may have led to the mistaken impression that the family had been subjected to an organized picket outside the Southern Inn, even though this second encounter between Wilkinson and the family apparently passed off without any rancor or commotion.
Funny how a sign and Wilkerson ended up where Sanders family was. Smart people can conclude the truth. I don’t need someone to distract from the facts.
