They can't arrest everybody.

A network of 3,000 California churches, representing 2.5 million members, plans to defy Gov. Gavin Newsom by resuming in-person services, as pastors insist they've been left out of the process.

California Church United pastors announced Thursday in front of a Fontana megachurch that they plan to open May 31, instead of waiting until stage 3, when gyms, movie theaters, and other venues open, the San Bernardino County Sun reports.

Churches are the worst for this kind of thing. They can't keep their hands off each other. Everyone has to hug and shake hands and pack in as closely as possible. A nightmare in the making since churches are full of old people.

I guess that's their trouble, not yours control freak.
If it was only them who would get infected I wouldn't care but they leave church to go eat out and visit friends and relatives. We also have to suspect the motives of the pastors who are worried about their racket. There's the real control freaks here.

Yes and that's their trouble. It's not a threat to you seeing as you are locked up in your home.

Unfortunately, we determined that the 0.2% death rate consisting of mostly elderly people who Cuomo managed to kill anyway, is not worth ruining the entire economy over.

That being said, no need to be stupid either. Do what you can to minimize the spread.

Methods can be taken to lessen the risk. Limits to people in the church, social distancing of non-family units. Spillover service broadcasts to parking lots with proper spacing. everyone wearing masks/gloves.

The issue is the blanket ban, and the fact of the matter that when it comes to Religion and Free Exercise, the government is required to use the least intrusive method when it comes to limiting said free exercise due to a compelling government interest.

Stay in your basement and wear that helmet. Exposure is inevitable regardless.

The Communist Socialist Government of California is shutting off the water and electricity of any businesses and churches that refuse to comply to their Communist Rules.

The collection plates have been empty lately. So much for the lord providing. LOL
Giving online is an option at my church.

Good riddance.

At this point the thing is, safety is not the only issue with these overblown lockdowns in Democrat states, or even the primary one. They are testing the limits of obedience of the citizens to their edicts.

It's about to blow up in their faces.
Mancow is throwing a big rally this Saturday in Chicago....Though not much of a joiner, I may go check it out.
