Rep King says we shut it down....

“I’m talking basically about Ted Cruz, who was saying if we [voted in the House to defund] Obamacare, he could manage to both keep the government open and defund Obamacare,” King explained. “The fact is, it was done in the House and the government is now closed and Obamacare is going forward. This was a strategy that never could work. It was almost sort of a nullification, to say we’re going to shut down the government if we don’t defund a law that we don’t like.”

Although it might be marginally refreshing for some Congressional republicans to admit to the facts and truth, that the GOP is solely responsible for the shutdown, a shutdown that was nothing more than a partisan contrivance by the radical right, but we need to hear the truth from Boehner for a change, who in turn must allow the clean CR to come to the floor of the House for a vote.

Republican Rep. Peter King: ?We are the ones who shut down the government? | The Raw Story

So no more of the lies blaming the President or the Dems. The GOP shut it down and they will pay!

Nobody will "pay".
1, we're all fucking broke
and
2, the voting public has too short of a memory

We have a very long memory. We know exactly who created the debt. And it started with two unfunded wars and tax cuts for the first time in history when the nation was at war. Course, we are still at war and those same fucking shitstains have closed down the government. Something even al Qaeda couldn't do.

Liar

You are probably right about the short memory of the voting public. However, what is going on now might serve to generate a paradigm change. The Republicans are counting on the "status quo" response on the part of the majority during an off year election. I think it might turn out to be a bad bet.

The huge base of democrat-voting youth are getting a bad taste in their mouth from their newly-realized monthly tax

Your memory is nothing more than a compilation of DNC talking points, mixed in with a bad education, and ignorance of economics and government.

Bush did double the national public debt in his eight years, but Obama is on track to double it again in his eight years. Since that fact doesn't bother you, your indignation about Bush and the public debt is simply ignorant partisan bullshit.

Your Democrats in congress have been unable to produce a budget in over four years now. They are completely incompetent asses who cannot accomplish the primary task of congress. Your community organizer in the White House has been unable to submit a budget that has any credibility, in over four years now. Also an incompetent ass.

Put that in your memories, and try and figure out why your thought processes are so screwed up.

Republican Rep. Peter King: ?We are the ones who shut down the government? | The Raw Story

In an interview with Fox News on Sunday, Rep. Peter King (R) bucked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his party’s standard talking points and told host Chris Wallace that Republicans “are the ones who shut down the government.”

“I’m talking basically about Ted Cruz, who was saying if we [voted in the House to defund] Obamacare, he could manage to both keep the government open and defund Obamacare,” King explained. “The fact is, it was done in the House and the government is now closed and Obamacare is going forward. The world according to the "raw story"? (Tax exempt) Media Matters must be working overtime to spin selected statements by (only) republicans to make a political point for the low information left.

Low information left coming from the most stupid political party the world has ever seen. You would think the mindless right teanuts would get tired of, take your pick, "Being wrong" and "Having the entire world laugh at them".

And what happened to the national debt while the sainted Ronald Reagan was President for 8 years?

Peter King also said he wouldn't sign the discharge petition that the dems need 18 R to sign. He said they don't have enough votes for it anyways.
