Ukrainian soldiers interviewed by the newspaper Kyiv Independent tell their stories.
The main points are:

- Russians bomb everything to dust, Ukrainians have nothing
- After two weeks of "training", Ukrainians go to Bakhmut
- Ukrainians´ daily chance of survival is 30 %

Litwin, how about a trip to Bakhmut?

Litwin , how about a trip to Bakhmut?

TitLoser has already taken the trip..
Flat on his face in the mud and reduced to gurgling noises .

How many UKRF are trapped in the town debris? 5, 7 or nearer 10 000?
Are they going to have to choose between facing front and being killed by dear Uncle P's sharp shooters . Or running backwards and being shot by Azov brigade remnants ?
If they surrender -- smart -- where will they go and how will they be fed and watered ?

Probably better to "lose" them however gross that will be to many , But maybe best for successful longer term aims ? It is war and not a tea party .
Against that, the Sheeple would react hysterically to MSM "war crime" claims. Some might even be disrespectful to dear Uncle P. However hard to believe !!

Meh, made for a good read but that's about it......I discount any info coming out of there.

I believe you are going to wake-up one morning to find the whole thing over and you will never have seen it coming.....That's how bad the propaganda is.

The vainglorious counteroffensive is coming at any moment.
At some point the Russian regulars are going to need to make their presence known, Wagner gets all the notice.

Russia is running short on manpower....pure and simple.
They nationalized all foreigners inside of Russia declaring them to be Russian...so they can draft, enlist, and do pretty much what they want (except pay them)

22 weeks for mechanics and crew to train to operate/repair a tank....that's how long it takes.

For other more advanced weaponry it takes longer.

I tend to think that all the Russian officers are in Ukraine now....trying to take this nation that didn’t know that they were supposed to just roll over and die.
Officers require years of training....

Russia only seems to make gains when it's 10:1 manpower....that's not good.

THE ACTUAL TRUTH . ITS' A MASSACRE. Today , March 6
Front line comments made by fighters today , reported by Kyiv Independent
The soldiers lack about everything that would support their defense:They say that Russian artillery, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers are often allowed to strike Ukrainian positions for hours or days without being shut down by Ukrainian heavy weapons. Some complained of poor coordination and situational awareness, allowing this to happen or making it even worse.Mortarmen spoke of extreme ammunition scarcity and having to use weapons dating back to World War II. Drones that are supposed to provide critical reconnaissance information are also scarce and are being lost at very high rates in some parts of the battlefield. All this leads to terrifying casualties of both dead and wounded. "The battalion came in in the middle of December… between all the different platoons, there were 500 of us," says Borys, a combat medic from Odesa Oblast fighting around Bakhmut. "A month ago, there were literally 150 of us."“When you go out to the position, it’s not even a 50/50 chance that you’ll come out of there (alive),” says the older Serhiy. “It’s more like 30/70.”

But it's the FULL, complete Russian army in Ukraine....except for some logistics barracks rats there is no one left to send into Ukraine.
Why haven't they been able to occupy the entire country? They have struggled to take Bakhmut and that's just one city of 70k. And the Russians are losing in excess of 12,000 soldiers per month minimum.
Those are unsustainable numbers and expenses....especially with 20,000-60,000 artillery rounds and rockets per day being expended. 1,000 Russian tanks are gone to the scrap metal pile or in Ukranians hand.

So where Bakhmut might be lost eventually(they really don't have it yet)....there's a LOT of Ukraine left to take.

The bear is losing its claws and teeth.

You come up with British numbers and treat them as facts?

And yet Prigozhim is saying the Russian ammunition shortage is so severe the entire Russian frontline is in danger of collapsing and Russia is in danger of losing the war.

Sounds like Bakhmut may soon be open to visitors from everywhere, except from Russia, of course.

""If Wagner retreats from Bakhmut now, the whole front will collapse," he said, per Reuters' translation of a video that appeared online over the weekend."

I don´t know if they translate correctly. However, I remember from the war in Syria that a similar Syrian merc army has been dissolved after disputes with the government.
However, I don´t think you have something to be happy. The last time Wagner was without ammo, Ukrainian soldiers told Kyiv Independent that they are lost in Bakhmut.

Zelensky does not want to retreat from Bakhmut by the way:

You know what that means? They will send more civilians with rifles into the Grinder.

We both know what it means is that Russia's industrial capacity is inadequate to keep its troops in the field supplied and that means it will lose this war.

No, we both know Ukraine has an endless supply of ammunition from its allies, but Russia's allies, North Korea and Iran, cannot fill Russia's needs.

The Russian ammunition shortage is manufactured and not real. Russia has plenty. The front line commanders are making requests and these requests are being approved but the munitions aren't getting shipped. Mostly because of a lack of trains and manpower to load and ship the munitions. So everyone on the Russian side gets cut on munitions. Now whether some of this stuff is getting sold on the Black Market is another story....not a new one but...another story just the same.

Months ago Russia passed a law giving the government control over companies that produce military supplies even to the extent of being able to command employees of the companies when to work and for how long. Moe recently Putin issued a decree allowing him to suspend members of the corporate boards of these companies if they fail to meet deadlines on government orders, so the Russian government has long known its industrial base was inadequate to supply its military in a long war. Russia may still be having logistical difficulties but I wouldn't be confident they have an adequate supply of ammunition to deliver.
