Hello Republican Comrades,
As you know, President Obama has crafted a deal that attempts to limit Iran's ability to go nuclear. The deal brings Iran into the global financial community where it can move closer to a free market system, just like w/China after Nixon opened it.
(When Nixon opened China, the hawks in both parties said he was appeasing a dangerous communist menace - a menace who was seen as a bigger threat during that Cold War than Iran is now. But Nixon fucking did it, and now China is the leading producer of goods for our largest corporations).
I know that none of you has read the specifics of Obama's Iran deal, but I want to make something clear.
The radical Islamic fringe is against the deal - they do not want to see their country westernized. They don't want Iran to enter the global economic community. They don't want capitalism to free the population and move the younger generation closer to western values. Washington's bombs will only strengthen allegiance to the Koran BUT Capitalism and technological modernization will free the population, giving them the intellectual and informational resources to evolve morally. [The radical Islamic fringe wants young Iranians to be scared of the West. They don't want ta repeat of China where young people started buying jeans, listening to rock music and watching Hollywood movies]
The radical islamic fringe uses western aggression to recruit potential moderates into their anti-western, anti-modern, anti-global campaign.
But here is the real problem with integrating Iran into the global community as we did with China. The Republicans need a dangerous Iran to achieve the goals laid out by Chaney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz in "Rebuilding America's Defenses". A dangerous Iran gives Washington a national security context for intervening in the middle east in order to strengthen influence over the world's most vital resource.

In summary:
Without a dangerous USA, one which is threatening to bomb Iran, the radical Islamic fringe loses its power to recruit moderates and move the country toward jihad.
Without a dangerous Iran, the radical Republican Right loses not only the power to use terrorism as an electoral tool, but it loses the national security context for continued intervention in the region.
In short my Republican comrades, both the GOP and the radical Islamic fringe need this deal to fall through. The last thing we want is a peaceful Iran, integrated into the global economic community - it will harm the Republican Party and Radical Islam.
