This country will not become a foreign seeming country. (Meaning, if you're able to get here legally we will not conform to you; you will be required to conform to us.)

Now read the two translations a couple of times with a sane mind and report back.
There should be minimal "foreign influence" here and in any country for that matter. Australia should feel like...guess what...AUSTRALIA! Southern California feels like, looks like, smells like and sounds like Mexico.
