Reviewing last month's job report

If "ecologica(ly)l-friendly new sources of energy" were profitable enough to necessitate the creation of tens of thousands of jobs, they wouldn't need subsidies and greedy capitalist pig CEOs would have been all over the sector years ago.

Face it, gnat, you're blowing more smoke out your ass than a tire fire.

Without govt subsidies, renewable energy would go nowhere. The output quantity doesn't justify the heavy cost. Only in govt wonderland.

As it is with any new technology.

But they believe it, either because it's what they are instructed to believe, or because they're so heavily invested in Trump that they just can't admit anything else.

Conditions could definitely improve if a couple of things fall our way, but the story they're trying to sell is an abject farce.
.
Maybe, maybe not...But the assertion that it's all because of lack of attentiveness to "green energy" money pits is laughable on its face.
This weakness has nothing to do with green energy.

This is about a middle class that no longer has real spending power. That's why growth is so low despite a low unemployment rate.
.
The lack of spending power is more tied to Fed policy than anything political....They're the ones charged with maintaining that power, and have been an abject failure at it for over a century.

It's the inevitable result of an economy built upon debt and fake money.
The Fed doesn't have nearly the power it used to, especially with rates already so low.

We needed rates to get up to at least 4% to give them some rate wiggle room. We never got there. Its influence is limited now.

This is what happens when we choose to gut the middle class.
.

So true. In a consumer driven economy, growth comes through spending. As the available cash the bulk of American consumers have to spend stagnates, so does growth.

The study includes the negative externalities caused by fossil fuels that society has to pay for, not reflected in their actual costs. In addition to direct transfers of government money to fossil fuel companies, this includes the indirect costs of pollution, such as healthcare costs and climate change adaptation. By including these numbers, the true cost of fossil fuel use to society is reflected.

Hilarious!!

If you ever stumble across a list of those "direct transfers", please, please post it.

I love it when idiots who don't understand accounting (or economics) claim that deducting a typical business expense is a "subsidy".

You should also count the free access to the resources on federal lands as well.

"Booming Economy" is a hoax.
What Trump supporters seem reluctant to do is to accept the real fact that the economy is considerably slowing down...mostly because of the idiotic Trump trade wars and this administration's refusal to explore ecological-friendly new sources of energy.

Bear in mind that 130K jobs were created in August....but the expectation was for growth of 150K.....

Of those 130K new jobs, we must consider that over 25,000 were temporary government workers to prepare for the 2020 Census count and the growth of manufacturing jobs was dismal, especially in such crucial voting bloc states in the mid west..
You really must do something about this butthurt problem before it become cancerous.

Then stop driving their electric rates up with more expensive green energy. They will have more discretionary income to spend on Chinese goods.

My state has one of the largest wind farms in the nation. We only have one coal fire plant left and it's being shut down.

When that wind farm came on line it was way too much electricity for the existing grid to handle. So we built a new one to handle all that new energy.

The result, we have the second lowest electric rates in the nation. We have a ton of excess electricity that we sell to other states for a profit.

Electric rates went DOWN because of all the green energy that those wind farms generated.

You can say that green energy is expensive but that won't make it true.

Here in reality green energy is cheap and abundant.

Trump's lying cruelty is evident when he falsely promised a resurgence of the coal industry to poor and often unhealthy coal miners.

You are using an article from 2017. Coal exports did increase in 2016 and 2017, but they have been declining in 2018 and 2019. Industry analysis predicts an 8.6 % decrease per year to continue in future years.

Just a question Moon Bat.

When that worthless piece of dumbass Muslim Negro shit was President did you ever "review" any of his job reports?

Here you go.

The first table is the ten lowest rates in the nation. My state is number 2 below Louisiana. We used to be number 3 below Idaho but as you can see, we are now cheaper than Idaho.

The next table is the list of the 50 states in alphabetical order with their rates.
