RNC Report Finds Voters Think GOP Is 'Scary'

But what you libroids are mistakenly calling "far right" is actually what the republican party used to be. The reason they have been losing elections as of late is because they've been moving to the LEFT.

Same old John Birch lie from the sixties when Goldwater got handed his head; it was the moderate GOP's fault. Nixon and Ford and the other mainstream leaders knew what needed to be done: isolate the crazy reactionaries and did so.

We are doing the same during these next three years.

There will be no wacky reactionary candidate in 2016 for the Pubs.

Nope... sorry... wrong again... the only reason conservatives enjoyed such landslide victories in '12 was because the Tea Party energized the true patriot conservative base. Romney lost because those conservatives stayed home and didn't vote by the millions. Once the patriot conservatives are once again energized and truly excited about a true conservative candidate, you'll see the libs get their ass handed to them again, and it's coming next year. Hardly anyone in the country is happy with liberals right now, and the ire is growing. People that voted dem are pissed. They're not whack job leftists like a lot of you are here. They're pretty decent people that realize voting for obama has been a huge mistake. He lied to them, and now they're pissed. Better get a new message going, because simply defending obama and calling patriot conservatives names is done for. You just look stupid now.

The one and only place the Tea Party has any political clout is in the primary process. They will run the most ardent Conservative with a pulse against any Republican incumbent they feel is not bringing the Bad Ass hard enough. Richard Lugar, e.g.

Once they get their man on the ballot, it is up to the rest of the electorate to determine whether or not the policies promoted by the Tea Party are what they themselves really want. Even in Republican districts, many main stream Republicans are forced to hold their noses and pull the lever for the Tea Party nominee. Sometimes there are enough Republicans in a gerrymandered district to carry the day, more often, the Tea Party policies are rejected by the majority.

And wrapping your movement in the guise of "patriotism" does not make it any more palatable. All voters are patriots. That's why they vote. So a wolf in patriot's clothing is too often seen as the bad choice he is.

What landslide victories in 12? You suckers lost my GOP seats in the House and the Senate. And you blew an election for president that we should have won hands down.

People are less satisfied with the Tea Party and the Democratic Party, and that is a shame. The folks who voted Dem are not happy, but they will not vote for the GOP until it sincerely reaches out to women and Hispanics. Flat fact of life.

Quit looking stupid, huh?

The Conservative message is a message of one dimensional thinking.

1) all problems great and small, political or not, are due to Liberal policies.

2) there are no problems that couldn't be solved by either adding a gun or cutting taxes for the rich

3) science is bunk

4) anyone different (complexion, nationality, sexual orientation, educated) must be soundly put in their proper place i.e. without rights or access to due process.

And this message is articulated by angry ANGRY people.

So it's both the message and the messenger. And neither appeal to the majority of voting Americans.

I'm so glad to know you don't indulge in hyperbole or fiction.
