My husband is retired Military and he was shocked to find out that a Russian military spy plane flew low over the White House, Capitol and CIA buildings. He was wondering why wasn't it escorted out? He's not buying the treaty story...........he said that is ridiculous - that is our airspace....

1) I'm a retired military pilot.

2) A TU-154 is an airliner similar a 727...and just about as old. While I'm sure it could be fitted with "spy" gear, it's not a very efficient way to do so.

That's because it's not. There's a difference between a "spy plane" and a media-labeled "intelligence gathering mission" using an old airliner.

These are spy planes. Note various antennas and sensors.

Was Trump trying to communicate to the Russians any Top Secret material? Could this be more evidence of collusion with the Russians?

Since 92' ... I think he was shocked to learn of such stupidity but after Reagan came Bush Sr. and 2 terms of Clinton (92' forward) who worked fervently to destroy and undo everything Reagan did. While I do see Pres. Trump having a like vision of Reagan, I'm afraid it is too little too late.
