S&P 500 caps off its worst first half in more than 50 years

We are long overdue, not counting the mini recession for COVID this is the longest we have ever gone without once since the Great Depression.

They are a built in feature of our economic system.

But yes, the longer in-between the worse they seem to be. That does not bode well.

Since the end of the Great Depression the US has had 13 recessions, an average of one very 6.7 years.

This does not just happen, it is a built in part of the system.

For starters not shutting down America and printing up non budgeted trillions goes a long way towards maintaining a level economy.
