This is an eco-fable involving American celebrities Tom Hanks and Leo DiCaprio attending a masquerade party together dressed as the Marvel Comics super-villains Scorpion (a poisonous menace) and Carnage (a freakish mayhem-agent) about eco-consciousness in the age of media and money.

It's inspired by Thank You for Smoking.

"American celebrity Tom Hanks contacted American celebrity Leo DiCaprio about various eco-activism related issues such as mishandled toxic-waste and acid-rain. Leo was the head of the eco-activism group The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation (which is why Hanks contacted him). Hanks and Leo sat down together and began talking about Leo's upcoming film-adaptation of the eco-warrior superhero Captain Planet. That's when Hanks started telling Leo about two iconic/intriguing Marvel Comics super-villains Scorpion and Carnage who both symbolized modern fears of fascism/terrorism.

Leo suggested that Hanks and Leo attend a special eco-masquerade party sponsored by The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation and dress up as Scorpion and Carnage. When the two celebs (Hanks/Carnage and Leo/Scorpion) arrived at the party, they were questioned by the impressed party-guests who wanted to know why the two iconic movie-stars were dressed as two very eccentric but iconic Marvel Comics super-villains. Hanks/Carnage and Leo/Scorpion explained that they wanted to cite fantastic pop-culture avatars in relevant modern discussions about passionate pedestrianism(!). When a guest proposed that Hanks/Carnage and Leo/Scorpion engage in an eco-debate about American values, the two celebs agreed and engaged in a rather 'dicey' conversation/discussion.

HANKS/CARNAGE: America sometimes feels like a sewer...
LEO/SCORPION: Capitalism requires much debate.
CARNAGE: Why not create a 'pro-dialogue' nation?
SCORPION: Media's supposed to do that, but it's too much 'scandal.'
CARNAGE: Should we condone pornography?
SCORPION: It's all about appealing to the consumer...
CARNAGE: What about water-guns?
SCORPION: Kids like water-guns, but it doesn't remind them of values!
CARNAGE: True; they're just fun; but certainly, they're 'symbolic.'
SCORPION: Sure! We can 'cite' them in chats about crime and water-pollution.
CARNAGE: Exactly!
SCORPION: Exactly what? That's merely 'propaganda.'
CARNAGE: Capitalism needs a good deal of 'fandom.'
SCORPION: Yeah; otherwise it simply feel like some 'casino.'
CARNAGE: Precisely. That's why we need more graphic dialogue!
SCORPION: Consumers don't want to hear about 'black sludge' in swamps.
CARNAGE: Well, they need to understand that corporations are dumping 'black sludge.'
SCORPION: We should ask DreamWorks to make a film about eco-terrorism.
CARNAGE: That's a clever angle; I'm a fan of Edward Abbey.
SCORPION: Sure. The Monkey Wrench Gang is an 'American trophy.'
CARNAGE: I suppose that's true. Hey, do American high school students like organics?
SCORPION: They're learning about things now like the pragmatism of organic farming!
CARNAGE: We should encourage Trump to link American oil to biomass fuels.
SCORPION: Algeria is already way ahead of America in wind-energy development.
CARNAGE: I think DreamWorks would want to make a movie about an eco-terrorist.
SCORPION: That's clever indeed; maybe Jude Law could portray the eco-terrorist(!).
CARNAGE: Sometimes all you need is a lot of 'dam dialogue.'
SCORPION: I like hydroelectric-dams...as long as they're ornaments.

After this stirring discussion/debate, Hanks/Carnage and Leo/Scorpion left the party to go to a bookstore to find Edward Abbey's book. The other party-guests thanked them for their clever costumes and fun discussion/debate. Hanks and Leo promised to 'carry the symbolic torch' of the Marvel villains Scorpion (a symbol of poison) and Carnage (a symbol of violence) by urging politicians and film-makers to consider the decisiveness of modern eco-consciousness!"
