I'm betting that 2020 will be the same, the union guys want to work, and Trump is throwing work at them, more than they have seen in ages. AOC is not her enemy - she is a powerful tool for the democratic party because she has a huge draw with younger people and is a conduit for the socialist wing of the democrat party to get in line. Things that Pelosi is seriously lacking. As Pelosi has no intention of running for president, is not looking to compete with AOC for a committee position and is not running against her in any election, there is nothing at all that puts them as 'enemies.'

A politician would use her as a tool to advance their agenda. I am not sure that this measure does that because of the level of insane in it. That is why I am surprised that Pelosi allowed the bill out in the public without tampering it down a bit. Either the dems believe this is the level of crazy necessary to keep the socialists within the party sated OR Pelosi is having a hard time controlling the AOC's of the party. I find the latter unlikely though that would be the exact problem that the right ran into with the tea party - they were never able to bring them on board to toe the line.
