Democrats / snowflakes don't give a damn about the children:
1. The 'appalling conditions' are the result of Democrats playing the partisan political 'Stupid Game' by refusing to acknowledge the existing / on-going massive national security crisis and humanitarian crisis regarding the continuous massive illegal invasion (approx. 100,000 illegals flooding across out border PER MONTH) AND their refusal to act to resolve and alleviate the problem.
Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party Controlled HOUSE, which controls all govt spending, have refused provide the US Border Patrol with even the bare minimum financing and resources to deal with / handle the massive numbers of illegals coming in that are overwhelming them The 'appalling' size and conditions of Detention Centers, the inadequate food, water, sleeping conditions, etc...are direct results of the Democrats' REFUSAL to fund the very illegal invasion they are refusing to stop, they are encouraging, and they are facilitating!
RIGHT NOW Democrats are trying to pass a spending bill that DOES NOT address - REFUSES TO - address the huge budgetary deficit, the inadequate Border Patrol Budget, that would alleviate these problems, that would provide for bigger / more detention centers (that are mandated by LAW right now...and who makes / changes law? Oh yeah - CONGRESS, the HOUSE), better food, better water, places to sleep, and additional manning required to not only enforce existing Immigration law but also deal with the 100,000+ illegals that keep coming each month!
2. Democrats would rather coyotes/criminals/human traffickers retain possession of the children they are USING to get into the US, and simply release them into the US populace without verifying any family connection between the adults and children.
Democrats have abandoned the Rule of Law - their responsibility to uphold existing US Law - the laws they have passed...
They are refusing to enforce those laws....
They are 'choking out', affecting the SYSTEMATIC DESTRUCTION' of the agencies that ARE attempting to enforce existing US law (USBP, ICE..) through a refusal to adequately fund these agencies - allowing them to be overwhelmed and blamed for inadequate conditions due to a lack of funding from Democrats in the House, by actively helping illegals escape ICE, and by supporting / running federal law-violating Sanctuary Cities.
They are attempting to pass a spending bill right now that refuses to address the horrific conditions mentioned by even providing the bare minimal funding the USBP needs....
.....and instead are attempting to pass legislation that funds the direct attempt to undermine US policy and law by, again, choking out the USBP and the mandate to house / detain illegals until adequate background checks can be done and until the diseases they are carrying can be dealt with to prevent endangering US citizens. What they seek to fund, instead, is a plan that FORCES the USBP to release illegals into the US populace much faster (facilitation of illegal immigration while undermining the President's policies and existing US Immigration law)!
