The link in your article for the Republican House committee reports states that from Jan 2021 till 2023 there were 7 million apprehensions at the border, with 2.4 million allowed in, as mostly asylum seekers awaiting immigration court hearings.

If that straight construction business loses a bid because a construction company with illegals to need bid him as you claim, then he should rat out the business hiring illegals....

It could deter some and I’m willing to meet you half way and give it a try

I already mentioned upgrading E-Verify

which you will need to catch the stolen and phony id’s

But you say nothing about building the wall and other measures required to secure the border

And nothing about mass deportations

Maybe you are avoiding the hard decisions in the hope that all the illegals will make it easy for you by deporting themselves
