Should AOC Go to Venezuela to Prop Up Democratic Socialism?

You are brainwashed I'm not her fan but socialism is not Venezuela only most western country are socialist and lot of them are ahead of the US in terms of health, education, HMDI, safety net, services, infrastructure poverty level, etc....

Veneazuela is socialist and supposedly democratic. The question I posed is whether our newly-found champion of Democratic Socialim should go to Venezuela and help her fellow DS in his hour of need.

They will doubtless be impressed with their fellow Latina's articulation and graspof economics and the great respect she commands in the USA. Do you agree?

You are just parroting what you hear from Rush and faux news. I can see you have no clue about socialism here in the US or elsewhere.

People allover want to live good lives. Socialism gives the promise of encompassing all with that. However it gnaws the foundation of anything a nation has accumulated. So a tried and true slow way to wealth for most people has to be replaced by a quick way for all. But its does not work for the most part. People cheat. A lot of people cheat. So the system slowly crumbles. Even the successful ones according to progressives are changing their ways as it pays to do nothing for many then working.

We already have socialism it just catered more to rich people, and contractors more than the needy Americans....we hand our money to defense contractors but we deny ourselves a universal health care or cheaper education for example.

So, should AOC help Maduro|? Democratic Socialism should be an international movement. Don't you agree?!
