It's too bad Obama is falling for this debunked claim. He should know better. He was right about the Iraq War not being necessary, after all. Iran is no threat to the US, hasn't started a war in centuries, and is justifiably concerned about their neighbors being attacked and the US Navy parking itself right next door to them. Any rational country would want a nuclear weapon to protect them from America's right wing warmongers. Anyway, as unlikely as it is to happen, if Iran does get a bomb and then use it on Israel, Israel will probably have done something to deserve it.

You have to admit they are making progress! Remember in 1992 Nutziyahoo said they were 3 to 5 years away from having a nuke and now 20 years later it's down to 1.

1 nuke for Iran isn't the issue. The critical number is around 30-50. At that point they might think they could launch a first strike on Israel crippling enough to prevent a massive enough retailiatory strike back on them.

They wouldn't nuke their 2nd holiest land to them. Nobody will use nukes nowadays. It's a deterrent. And Iranians aren't stupid. They are Persians, generally intelligent people.
