California Democrat Shuts Down Town Hall Overwhelmed by Trump Supporters - Breitbart
"Rep. Nanette Barragán (D-CA), a first-year congresswoman from the 44th congressional district, abandoned a town hall meeting on Friday evening in the city of Carson in Los Angeles County after she was faced with an overwhelmingly pro-Trump audience.
According to video filmed by one of the protesters, very few of Rep. Barragán’s constituents showed up for the meeting at a local school, and even fewer of her supporters. Meanwhile, dozens of Trump supporters filled the front rows.
After the meeting began without the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, the pro-Trump attendees recited it on their own. Rep. Barragán then began her remarks to the meeting by attacking Trump, and was immediately drowned out by jeers and chants: “We love Trump!” “Respect our president!”
Barragán did not show up to respect our country, as evident by the fact that the pledge of allegiance was only conducted because of the attending citizens.
Barragán did not come to show any respect for President Trump, as evident by her attacking Trump right off the bat as she began to speak, for which she was drowned out and rebuked as the crowd demanded she respect the President of the United States.
Barragán did not come to listen to her constituents, as evident by her rejecting their words and fleeing like a scalded dog when faced with a call for her to actually respect the President of the United States.
One thing I learned in the military is that you don't have to respect the PERSON, but you must respect the RANK. Liberals don't have to respect Trump, but they need to respect the office of the President.
They'd just rather RUN when called to do so, instead...
