We shot a bunch of missiles. Did not see any report saying how many were shot down.

It has to be a little embarrassing if we had a lot shot down. Syria seems to claim they nailed most of them. Our military is silent?

No one outside of military observers will know, if even them, and they will never tell us the truth. To go extreme, if they all hit, no one would believe that, and if they all missed no one would believe that. So lets say the Syrians shot down half. I don't believe it.

if it were true, that many were shot down, that means:
the $Million plus missiles are just about worthless
the US military is just about worthless
Raytheon is worthless
decades old technology is worthless
the chances of many being shot down is very, very low
these have been updated/used for decades
...the strategy/tactics to get them to the target have been updated/upgraded/analysed/researched/adapted/etc for decades
