So They Want To Take Out "Gone With The Wind".What Next? "All In The Family" And Seinfeld?

Liberal pussies who hate free speech are behind all this insanity. You'll never find Republicans or Independents trying to suppress free speech like this.

Actually, the private owner these properties are exercising their free speech by refusing to rent them out any more. What is your solution? Allow the government to forbid private owners to withdraw the movies from their private catalogs?

People can certainly do that, but its supposed to be part of a long term plan to make more money when its a public corporation. They have a duty to the shareholders.

Well, if you are a shareholder of the company that withdrew GWTW, you should certainly let the corporation know how you feel about it. My issue is when people start politicizing a private company for making decisions about what they want to do with their own property. I noticed that the same people who complain about liberals influencing companies to do something that they think us politically correct, are the same ones that cheered lustily when Trump said that he would not renew Starbuck's lease in his building because they had removed the snowflakes from their Christmas cups.

There are reports that The Dukes of Hazard will be pulled from streaming services.

No, dumbass, they fall under entertainment - not monuments to racists.

You know, a simple disclaimer at the beginning of the show stating that it was made in much different times and the language and treatment of various groups isn't in keeping with current views today.

Kinda like when they show the disclaimers of violence, language, sexual situations and adult themes before the beginning of a movie that some might find objectionable because it has adult content.

Something like that, short, simple and easy to understand. But, under no circumstances should the movie be edited or altered to make it in keeping with today's values. A disclaimer at the beginning should be enough.
