First, it's debatable if they have nukes they can actually lob at us.

Second, if they did, they'd be wiped off the map.

Third, the history of North Korea is they act beligerent, get a little of the world's attention, and then make concessions to get more aide.

The real threat of North Korea is that it will economically collapse and millions of people will be wandering around looking for food.

If Japan and South Korea, both very rich countries that are within range of their weapons aren't treating this like a big deal, why should we, exactly?
