Sotomayor's job should be in jeopardy

Yesterday the U.S. Supreme Court, over two dissents, ruled
that the voters of Michigan were within their rights under the Constitution’s
Equal Protection Clause to enact an amendment to the state constitution barring
racial preference in public university admissions.

Sotomayor wrote the dissenting opinion saying states should not have the right to decide if people are admitted to college based on race.
Ruth (ACLU) Ginsberg agreed.

Sotomayor said she owed much of her success to Affirmative Action,
in other words ...she's saying that her career was advanced due to race and didn't earn her job due to merit.

She's most likely unqualified to be a Supreme Court Judge (...just like the others)

Unfortunately the GOP had their chance at the Senate hearings. She lied and they believed her. Now she is untouchable, save some major scandal like taking bribes. That fucking sucks but we've had losers on the Supreme Court before.

What did she lie about to the Senate?

I mean, if she actually had lied to the Senate, there'd be a decent case to impeach her.

She believed the 2A conferred an individual right and then when she dissented in the McDonald case she turned around and denied that.
No, that is not really grounds for impeachment.

Affirmative Action had nothing to do with her getting her high grades...they just paid part of the college bill.

She should have never been confirmed in the first place after making the statement that the court is where laws are made.

In her confirmation she basically denied she had ever said what she had said for about 15 years previously.
Nothing can be done about her, although as a Type 1 Diabetic she wont be around for too long. But it is a good lesson to block any nominee Obama sends along.

"Courts are where policy is made."
"Developing laws."

She couldn't pass an eighth grade civics test but she passed confirmation. Wonder why?

Right to bear arms not a fundamental right?

Amendments are subject to interpretation according to changing times?

But she passed confirmation. Wonder why?

It's crazy that states have to pass constitutional amendment to get affirmative action banned. The equal protection clause of the 14th amendment makes it clear that AA is unconstitutional.

HAHAHA. AA had everything to do with her grades. All minorities get the benefit of affirmative action grading.

I like clarence thomas' politics but he got on the court by AA too and likewise doesn't belong.
