Ironic that the high school named after Douglass, situated in the same plantation region here in PG County, MD, is solidly middle class, mostly if not entirely black with students living in half-million-dollar homes and are still speaking in a southern dialect infused with mispronunciations rooted in illiteracy. Self-segregating blacks, all of whom are democrats.
