Medical workers notified authorities in February 2018 after a pregnant 11-year-old came to their office and said Lopez-Sanchez had raped her, the Dallas Morning News reported.


Lopez-Sanchez has been in custody since his February 2018 arrest. The Associated Press reported that he also faces a federal immigration detainer.

Because there are pedophiles in a segment of the population pedophilia is somehow justified in other segments of the population? Scofflaws should be met with the most severe penalties and universal disgust. Those who justify pedophilia, in this case, are more disgusting than the perpetrators of pedophilia. If pedophilia is a widespread problem the perpetrators should be met with universal disgust and removal from society not justification.
