Texas school to arm teachers and provide handguns

Really, they don't have to arm many teachers at all…they just have to let it be known that someone in the building will be capable of creating armed resistance to an active shooter…….and that is all you need. Active shooters will find schools without armed protection.

So…….take down the gun free zone sign, let people know that some people on the grounds will be armed, don't tell anyone who they are….and problem is solved….

It is their school district and if this is what the people of the district want then so be it. Do I think it is really necessary? No, not really.
I bet you'd think it "necessary" if you had a kid in a classroom and some fucking maniac kicked the door in and started murdering the kids. I bet you'd hope a teacher was highly trained to defend your kid.

You'll have to excuse me if I don't base my views on a dramatic hypothetical.
I see. So when those fucking rag head muslims murdered and bunch of innocents that was "hypothetical"?

No, that was real. What you offered you wasn't though.

School District Approves Armed Teachers, Provides the Handguns

On December 16, school board members in Keene, Texas, voted not simply to allow armed teachers, but also to provide the handguns teachers will carry.

Ironically, the effort was supported by Keene Independent School District (ISD) superintendent Ricky Stephens, who opposed arming teachers when hired three years ago. “Now he says the world has changed and so has his opinion.”

According to Fox 5, Keene ISD members “approved a policy that would allow a few select staff members inside its four campuses to carry a gun.” The names of those who will be carrying are being withheld, but the guns they carry will be “provided by the district.”

The district will decide which teachers to arm out of a pool of those who submit their names as wanting to carry a gun.

I have the distinct feeling that they forgot to check with one, their lawyer, two, their insurance company. The liability on this plan is off the charts.

God you're an idiot! What happened at the Christmas party wasn't "real" until it happened. What happened to the Twin Towers wasn't "real the day before they were brought down.
Why don't you contact the school and inform them what they are attempting to prevent isn't "real".
You're fucking delusional.

Schools for the most part all have armed cops on site when students are at the school. So, gun free zone simply isn't true. Not that mass shooters seem to care if they get killed. In fact it seems to be a requirement.

I guess you missed where the victims families are suing Newton and the board of education for not providing security measures over the Sandy Hook shootings

You'd be wrong about that. Some schools have the money to hire armed security guards NOT LEOs. Most do not.

Are they demanding armed guards, or, armed teachers, of small ones?

sandy hook did not have armed resource officers on campus...the middle school and high school did...the notes the shooter left indicate he had planned the attack for years......

they choose gun free schools when there is a choice to be made......the Sandy Hook shooter Isn't the only one who chose a gun free school over an armed one..the South Carolina church shooter, the kid who was stopped in Minnesota.......these guys plan their attacks 6 months to 2 years in advance and they weigh all the factors in their planning...
