The Tax "Reform" Bill he signed, written by the lame duck H. of Rep. eliminated the top two tax brackets, and doubled the Standard Deduction which will sunset in 2027; of course the two top tax brackets will remain deleted. Corporations got a great deal, some don't even pay a penny in the Federal Income Tax. Is this a policy which is better for the working class?
The middle class too is paying more, sense the State Income Tax and Real Estate Tax deductions were cut to $10,000. Thus, we are paying in the next highest tax bracket, and each year will pay more in taxes and fees as the states are hurting do to the burden of the pandemic.
