Trump's policies brought unemployment down to the lowest rate in decades, Among black and other minority populations, it was the lowest ever—ever. Wages, especially wages at the lower end, were rising, prescription drug prices were falling, and manufacturing was flooding back to the United States, a direct result of Trump’s America First trade policies. He came to office promising to lose two regulations for every new one enacted, but has managed to lose nearly 20 regulations for every new one. His exploitation of America’s energy resources have not only made the country energy independent, they have made us a net exporter of energy.

Trump has made extraordinary progress on other fronts as well, from his hundreds of judicial appointments to reducing the flow of illegal immigration by 90 percent. The mid-line GDP estimate right now is over 20% with the Atlanta Fed now-casting it at estimated at 29.6% annualized growth.

Previous to the current quarter, the best quarter ever recorded was 16.7% in 1950. Small wonder that voters consistently give Trump better marks on the Economy than Biden, Trump's just damn good on the economy.

Trump didn't inherit the Great recession. Remember? He inherited the Obama recovery package, which Trump had nothing to do with, and unemployment was already very low. So, you aren't showing us anything Trump has done. You are showing us Obama's economy.

I just love how the Obama acolytes talk about the economy in terms of how nothing was ever Obama’s fault. When he was in office it was always something else to blame for his “new normal”... Bush’s fault, the weathers fault, or just anything that shifted blame for the Obama Biden failure, and stagnation. Now that Trump has brought back business, lowered unemployment to record levels, and scrapped regulation that was strangling this nation, libs want to take retroactive credit....Sorry, that dog won’t hunt.

Obama's "new normal" was not related to presidential policies, it was a global slow down in productivity gains which resulted in low GDP growth. Unemployment improved steadily during Obama's tenure.

Trump came into office, did all the things that Republicans said would dramatically improve the economy and nothing really changed. GDP Growth was still slow. Unemployment improved at the same steady rate. His policy changes had basically no real effect on any of this.

They were the same economy, but Obama's was a disaster and Trump's was the best it ever could be. It's like there two different realities.
