The Dark Side of Political Censorship

Those who do the censoring and those who benefit from censorship will always have endless euphemisms and justifications for this dirty and deceptive behavior, but the truth here is that political censorship is a cowardly, evil, deceptive, immoral, cheating, and wrong. Political censorship is used to combat superior information or arguments that cannot be beaten with arguments that stand on merit. Political censorship is evil and deceptive, since most folks can't see the shameful trail of evidence that lead to the shameful act of censorship. When political censorship is being used, there is ALWAYS a shameful trail of evidence that leads to the cowardly act of deception, regardless of what euphemism is presented to justify it. ALWAYS.

Indeed, lefties know all of what the opening post is about. The problem however, is that it makes every lefty want to censor the thread or see it get censored. The sneakiest way to hide the truth of the opening post is to anonymously delete it. The next sneakiest step is to anonymously move it to conspiracy theory.

Twitter and Facebook like to just claim that their rules were being broken when they censor their political opponents, but of course we never actually get to see which rules are allegedly broken. Sneaky and deceptive. Dishonest. Cheating. Same for all of those who do the censoring. It all happens in the shadows where nobody can see what is really going on.

Let's first be clear on what censorship is, here is how Wikipedia defines censorship:

"Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication, or other information. This may be done on the basis that such material is considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or "inconvenient". Censorship can be conducted by governments, private institutions and other controlling bodies."

Where am I suppressing speech, communication, or otherwise information?

One of the reasons why I have the word "darkness" in the title, is because of the shameful anonymity that typically accompanies the use of such a shameful political weapon. I did refer to it as cowardly in the opening post, but I think it is important to recognize the shameful anonymity of it that makes it cowardly. People who rely upon censorship as a weapon take measures to ensure that nobody knows what they are up to. They rely upon the cover of darkness.
