I've never seen a break down of the Cain supporters that were stupid enough to believe those accusations and stopped supporting Cain.
If you have, please link to it.
IMO, the most likely ones to have left were the moderates, who were stupid enough to trust the media, and the Religious Rights, who are very sensitive to accusations of sexual misconduct.
It certainly wasn't me, nor anyone in my circle.
Your assumption and use of Racism reflects on you, and has not been shown to have anything to do with what Republicans were thinking or doing at the time.
Furthermore I have no problem with Mormons. The ones I have known have all been quite nice.
The people that first abandoned Cain were the bandwagoneers who are looking to ride the gravy train of the winner.
The Second were the donors who saw a small dip in the polls and decide to "invest" in a different candidate.
And all of this was conducted against a back drop of RNC officials and neocon media repeatedly claiming that since Mittens Romney had the full support of the GOP Establishment he was a lock.
