So I'm watching these guys on CNN giving speeches at the 50th in DC and I was struck at the difference between rhetoric. I switched it over to FOX but they weren't doing the same coverage.

Some speech highlights were "Rosa Parks was not a ho or a bitch, stop making money off of saying such things".

We need jobs. To get jobs, we need to invest in education and infrastructure.

We need to stay away from guns.

I missed any reference calling for more food stamps or welfare or any of the things Republicans say they want.

I did hear a lot of "We are all Americans and should work together". The (Ayn) Rand Paul Republicans call that "socialism".

No one mentioned how GOP policies devastated the economy under Bush, only what can we do about it now. Notice, there are no suggestions from the GOP on anything besides tearing things down or obstruction.

Will there be a GOP march? The last one under Glenn Beck was a hoot. All that stuff about freedom quickly followed by voter suppression. And we know it's not just about ID's. Republicans won't even discuss lines lasting hours or cutting early voting in Democratic districts. They only want to talk about ID's and pretend the rest goes undiscussed.

They talked about education and jobs and children being shot in the street by armed black youth and by Republican supported people like "Zimmerman" who shot an unarmed kid who only walked to the store for some candy before a game. They talked about the need to confront violence and put in place policies that would end it or at least slow it down. They talked about rebuilding American infrastructure.

What are Republicans talking about? End health care, cut taxes for billionaires and hate Obama. Is that about right?
