Who care about the Jurassic? It's only relevant in explaining how the planet transitioned from a greenhouse planet (Jurassic) to an ice house planet (Quaternary).
Not exactly. Jurassic is an Earth data point - WARMER and WETTER ie WARMER = WETTER, so to blame drying out of plants on "warming" is to be completely WRONG about BOTH...
And the Jurassic map above explains why - very little land near the poles.
