Completely different cases that can't be compared, but whatever.
If Kim Davis was a gay activist who refused to issue hetero marriage licenses, she would be feted as the ACLU's Martyr of the Year.
God you people are stupid...If Kim Davis was a gay activist who refused to issue hetero marriage licenses, she would be feted as the ACLU's Martyr of the Year.
This fails as a false comparison fallacy. If Kim Davis was a gay activist who refused to issue hetero marriage licenses, she would be feted as the ACLU's Martyr of the Year.
Nope both are constitutional issues. Kim's 1st amendment rights are being violated and those 7k people's 2nd amendment rights are being violated AFTER a court ordered the licenses issued.Completely different cases that can't be compared, but whatever.
Oh so when its something you liberals agree with it matters what the state has to say but when its something you disagree with it doesn't matter what the state says....please keep being hypocrites. Oh and a judge already ordered that bitch to issue the licenses.California is a "may issue" state. "May-issue" laws are constitutional, according to the Supreme Court. Thus, the Sheriff is conducting legal behavior.
Kim Davis does not have a legal right to refuse to issue marriage licenses. Kentucky does not have a "may issue" statute for marriage licenses.
Did she comply?Nope both are constitutional issues. Kim's 1st amendment rights are being violated and those 7k people's 2nd amendment rights are being violated AFTER a court ordered the licenses issued.Completely different cases that can't be compared, but whatever.

So in other words ,ya got nothingODIUM SAID:
"Their silence speaks VOLUMES."
The ignorance and stupidity of most on the right 'speaks volumes.'
During the first few months after her appointment as Sheriff-Coroner, her department sent letters to many concealed weapon permit holders, indicating their intention to revoke those permits. The form letters, sent to over six hundred permit holders, read "The Department has determined that your identified risk does not meet the good cause threshold as required under the new CCW policy based upon the information you provided. As a result of this determination, the Department's present intention is to revoke your CCW license
WOW!
