Hungry ego seeks to soothe an ancient sense of abandonment, but nothing ever will.

Still, they hunt seeking a pack to hunt with them and finding that pack as they turn aggression into a group event.

The pack is just the pack, though, useful tools for protecting the damaged child that lashes out seeking victims even as they spin webs of deceit placing themselves as one.

Every day, they hunt. They hunt for power. They hunt for control. They hunt for the pure exhilaration of hunting. They hunt for everything but the source of their rapacious desire to hunt.

In doing so, they never find an actual salve that heals the broken child raging behind that mask of power.
