I don't see anyone being nominated who isn't already a federal judge. There are always these fantastic ideas floating around but it hardly ever works out that way. It won't be Sessions or Cruz, or Mike Lee, not that they wouldn't make good justices... it's just that Trump is such an embattled president, his pick is going to have to be near perfect and unassailable.

Well that would be a brilliant way to get him out as AG- but I don't see Trump nominating for the Supreme Court anyone he can't trust to be a loyal ally- and he feels like Sessions betrayed him.
