The Pedophilia accusations rule?

Sexual abuse of a male child by an adult male is defined as a homosexual assault. Homosexual males molest boy victims far more often than heterosexual males molest girl victims. Psychologist Eugene Abel reported homosexuals, "sexually molest young boys with an incidence that is occurring from five times greater that the molestation of girls."

Way we phrase things matters. As-is, it suggests homosexual men are 5 times more likely to molest boys than heterosexual men molesting girls. That's misleading. What it actually means is that in all cases of child sexual abuse, men offending against boys occured 5 times as much as against girls.

If less than 1% of homo or heterosexual men ever offend, then whether there's a 5x greater likelyhood it's men against boys becomes statistically less significant. When you put it the other way though people are going to draw incorrect conclusions.

Also, a broader point is worth mentioning, that being our media in the US frequently and incorrectly uses the word pedophile when hebephile or ephebophile is what's actually being described. Pedophilia, in my not so humble opinion is indefensible. But teens and adults have been having consensual sexual relationships all along. But onyl recently has it been suggested something magical happens when teens reach the arbitrary age of consent which in the US varies from 15-18. And until then they can't consent becuase their brains aren't done maturing (using that logic the aoc should be in the mid 20s when brains actually finish maturing.) And if the aoc is 15, what about another state where it's higher? If you cross the state line does the child suddenly get dumber? This is the faulty science we find ourselves with presently and why this subject needs to be addressed and our laws ammended to better reflect reality.

100 cases of Child Molestation should produce at the most 3 homosexual offenders - why in the world does it produce 1100 % more than it should - why are there 33 to 35 cases of homeosexual child abuse per 100 - when liberal logic dictates that there should only be 2 to 3 - perhaps because LIberal Logic is Wrong .

AOCs are fine where they are. But in order to 'sell papers' or make news segments watchable media sensationalize things that are pretty trivial and mundane. Like every time a teacher and student hook up. Minus the teacher aspect it's a non-event. Yet much of the time people on-air will use the term pedophile which then makes it seem more controversial than it actually is.

What I do propose though is making close-in-age exemptions for consensual sexual relationships where it's two teens hooking up. At present, few states have 'romeo and juliet' exemptions. So we're ruining kids' lives by making them into 'sex offenders' where all they did is what every teen hopes for.

What you are speaking of is a very small percentage of cases - and is generally not classified as pedophilia. So far as the Teacher-Student hook ups - it is generally an ADult Woman fooling around with an under age Boy - in any event the instances of any of these scenarios being homnosexual in nature are so extremely small - they would have only a miniscule imnpact of the statistics. Hardly relevant

For those wondering about the pedophile rule, here it is:

No accusing another member of pedophilia.
No implying another member is a pedo.

If you are thinking about a clever way of wording your post to get around the rule you are probably breaking the rule.

There's a certain amount of grey area....for example, general statements like "most gays are pedos" isn't breaking the rule, but a statement like "Member X is gay so he's probably a pedo" is.

If in doubt - don't post it. It's not rocket science.
