There is a lot of speculation on this topic right now. Some claim that this is allegedly impossible without the consent of other states. Where is that written?

There is no such prohibition anywhere in the law. There are no other state or federal consent clauses anywhere.

Everything that is not forbidden is allowed. Any state can secede without the consent of anyone other than the consent of the people of the state itself.

Constitutionally, there is no such thing as secession of a state but if the rights of the people of the United States (as recognized by the Constitution) are not secured by the .gov, and the people of a state have no other means to redress their grievances except by separating themselves from same, then it is their undoubted natural right to do so.....Maybe even their duty to their citizens to do so.

A case could easily be made for secession simply based on our open Southern Border by any one or a confederation of the border states.....The Government of the United States is not protecting it's citizens from unfettered illegal immigration and it's associated ills thus it deserves no loyalty.

Indeed, the citizens of those states have a natural right to leave the Union to protect themselves and take the necessary measures to secure their safety.
