Ok. Let's play the game. You are a Sergeant. There are, say, ten soldiers under your command. If you demand money (however small amount) from your soldiers - anyway who know about it (and at least ten men know about it) can blackmail you. Do you really want to risk it for the equivalent of $100 or $1000? What is worse - if you abuse your soldiers and show yourself as stupid, selfish and criminal non-leader - how will you lead them in battle? And if your Leuitenant or Captain knows that you are a "weakest link" and a "vulnerability" - he, at least out of the sense of self-preservation, will definitely get rid of you. Say nothing about practical question - the regular soldiers don't get cash, they get money on their cards, and all electronic transactions (especially in the zone of special military operation) are controlled by the bank, FSB, and whoever else. Any suspicious pattern - and they are starting asking questions. What you said is true....up to a point.
Unless fines for rules infractions are allowed. (And they are). Which is the loophole so big you can drive a truck through it.
And what soldier is going to go high enough up to admit to a crime (worth years in jail) to get back his equivalent of $10 or even $100.
Multiply this by a few hundred soldiers and....
You claim some form of intelligent reasoning....use it! Stop with the ridiculous claims already. I like someone with intelligent arguments....can't you do better?
