It appears this latest spat of climate change is breeding more arsonists.
The problem is, how do you keep from getting crown fires when there is 50+ years of fuel on the forest floor? There may be no way to do this safely..
That's just it... Once the fire starts you can't stop it and a crown fire will burn everything into the ground to about two feet. This kills all of the trees and foliage.. IF they had let small fires burn and clean this out every few years they would have healthy forests and no build up... Stupidity is painful..The problem is, how do you keep from getting crown fires when there is 50+ years of fuel on the forest floor? There may be no way to do this safely..
Not after one of these fires-- -- nature has a way of cleaning this up.
It's not 'Heat' and 'Dryness' that is driving these Democrat criminals to set fire to business, homes, and the wilderness, it is their butt-hurt from losing in 2016. 'A picture says a thousand words', as they say - snowflakes tell a thousand lies.

If there was global "warming" ongoing, there would be less fires....

Earth with a max surface temp of 30F = no (ZERO) H2O in the atmosphere (all frozen)
Today = some H2O in atmosphere
Jurassic = warmer and WETTER than today
Earth with a min surface temp of 220F = all H2O in the atmopshere = you boiled out the oceans

Its really sad that over 100 years of forestry mismanagement by liberals is being swept under the rug... Its time to throw these idiots into the fires they created and get real people who know what they are doing in to fix it...
