As more states repeal their license to carry requirements, I wonder what this will do to the number of permits aggregated across the US as a whole.
I wonder if this presumably lower number will be offset by the fact all 50 states are now 'shall issue'.

Good point. I suppose it will matter how each state looks at residency requirements or reciprocation.
