THE SESSIONS CONTROVERSY EXPLAINED
How Sessions found himself at the center of a political fray
Critics of Attorney General Jeff Sessions have accused the former senator of purposefully lying about contacts with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak last year.

The incident stems from comments made by Sessions under oath during his confirmation hearing for attorney general on January 10.

When asked by Democratic Senator Al Franken about contacts with any Russian-government related entities during the course of the Trump campaign, Sessions stated he was unaware of any such meetings.

The Sessions Controversy Explained
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well for those who want to have another view and opinion , instead of the MSM lies being fed down the pike not to mention the same MSM sheep on here pushing the very same lies.
This is a decoded thought on what's really going on.

Some enjoy gathering information so they can formulate their own thoughts or opinions. Unlike the weak minds who seek out MSM as their truth bibles. LOL and they don't even know what they don't know.

Explained?

Sessions testified before congress, under oath, very unambiguously, that he had no contact at all with the Russians.

“I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I did not have communications with the Russians.”

(Mindwars left out that extremely damning Sessions quote. That is, he lied by omission. He's got some 'splainin to do about that.)

Now we learn Sessions met with the Russian ambassador during the campaign.

This is not some he-said/she-said partisan thing, no matter how certain party hacks will try to spin it. At a minimum, Sessions is guilty of perjury. Whether he's guilty of conspiracy, treason, or other crimes, that still needs to be investigated. There's absolutely no question he should resign immediately.

And it's pathetic for anyone to try to excuse what Sessions did. Thus, Mindwars tried. There's literally no crime or treason by a member of DerParteiRepublikkan that Mindwars wouldn't excuse. Keep in mind that Trump-cultists like Mindwars are literally more loyal to TheParty and to Russia than they are to the USA. Anything they say should be initially assumed to be a lie on behalf of their true masters, unless independent evidence shows otherwise.

We've been through this a thousand times, and Leftists are simply incapable of seeing this rationally.

When he "met with" (actually, encountered) a couple of Russians during the campaign, it was in his capacity as a SENATOR, and not in his capacity as an "advisor" to the Trump campaign. No campaign issues were discussed, and certainly nothing about Russians supporting the Trump campaign.

And don't forget, NOBODY thought Trump had any chance of winning this election! Not Sessions, not Franken, and certainly not Trump.

This is the equivalent of an employer asking an employee if he has ever "met with" any employees of a competitor. The employee responds in the negative, then it is later learned that he attended a soccer game at which his daughter played against the daughter of someone employed by a competitor, and they exchanged greetings at the snack shack. The "meeting" had nothing to do with his employment, and the denial was truthful.

But too complex for Lefties to understand, eh?
