Ropey,
My question was: "When did the Palestinians ever lose a war?"
Your response was: "The Arabians who call themselves Palestinians are at a continual state of war..."
Israel claims that it is in a "continual state of war"
The fact is that the conflict has been ongoing for about 100 years and has never ended. The war is not over. Nobody has won. Nobody has lost. Israel claims that it has won land in "defensive" wars, but how can it make that claim when the war has not been won? The wars Israel has had with countries outside of Palestine are irrelevant. Israel cannot win Palestinian land from Egypt or Jordan. It is not their land to lose.
Since Israel has not won anything yet, it has no land to put a border around. That is why to this day Israel has no borders.

Israel has borders defined in forty eight. After the declared wars and defenses it has taken land from those who have attacked it and expanded some of the borders.
That's simply reality. To be negotiated, or not.

That is a common misperception. All the maps you see show Israel inside the 1949 armistice lines. These lines are commonly called the green line or 67 borders. However, the 1949 armistice agreements specifically state that the armistice lines are not to be considered national or political borders. They merely define areas of occupation inside Palestine's borders. Egypt was to occupy the Gaza Strip, Jordan was to occupy the West Bank, and Israel was to occupy the rest. In no way did the armistice lines change Palestine's international borders that were defined by the League of Nations in 1922.
Palestine's borders are the same as they were in 1922.

Armistice agreements are non-binding and do not supercede the binding Palestine Mandate establishing all of Palestine as the Jewish homeland.

The armistice was call by UN resolution. It was signed by all parties involved in the 1948 war. It is a binding document. The agreements did not define borders. They merely confirmed existing borders. At the end of the 1948 war, Israel had no borders. Israel still has no borders.

The armistice agreements were temporary and not binding. They do not supercede the Palestine Mandate that constitutes a multilateral international treaty among 51 states and international law.
Furthermore, Articles 77 and 80 of the UN Charter protect the Palestine Mandate from termination.
Now, you know.

You're not the brightest bulb. The British Mandate terminated and the Palestine entity terminated, however, the Palestine Mandate, a separate entity, never was revoked.

I knew you would skate on this one.
I knew you'd get lost, your usual orientation.
"Palestine" was merely the designation of land that changed to Israel upon Israeli statehood.
The Palestine Mandate is a binding trust that designates Palestine as the Jewish homeland. Until all of "Palestine" falls under Israeli sovereignty, including Judea and Samamria and Gaza, the terms of the Palestine Mandate are not fulfilled and, thus, the Palestine Mandate remains unrevoked under the UN Charter.
