A few things. First note the professionalism of the school staff. One is staged to update the arriving officers. Another has locked the doors and has his keys ready to open the doors for the police.
Body cam is from a cop who just happened to be in the area to go pick up some records. He had no knowledge of this part of Nashville. There’s two sirens on. First is an intruder siren. Second is a fire alarm, the trans murderer pulled the fire alarm to try to draw the children out.
This video shows the current strategy for active shooters. You go in solo if nobody else has arrived. (Uvelade sickens everyone). In this case several officers arrived simultaneously.
No shots are being fired so it’s a room to room search. Then shots are heard and everyone runs towards the sound. The danger now is you’re running towards danger, and if there’s two or more shooters you’ve just left your flanks exposed. The officer with the rifle is told to take the lead as they enter so its rifle vs rifle.
The shooter is shot but continues to reach for a gun and is eliminated.
Not shown is now you search for additional shooters, in this case there were none.
