The only glimmer of hope is to grow the GDP (get more tax revenue) and reduce/freeze the spending. But they never have.........and (you are right) they never will. So it will get worse until collapse or until they have to do something.

They could also sell ASSETS to generate revenue. Like Military base near LA?

They will run to hills with Gold from Fort Knox and take care of themselves. They will leave us in street wars (worst case).

You are right. "We" all paid into SSI forever. They spent it all instead of hold on to it safely for "us".
They will pay themselves Gold plated pensions/healthcare first and they don't care to pay you SSI when you are due for it. IF they don't have the money, too bad. You think they care about you? or themselves?

One of the reasons Jeb is fucked is because most of his supporters were the reasonable republicans...But, now that he threaten to destroy SSI = over for him. He was never going to be able to get the libertarians.

When are these republicans going to get it through their head that ssi is more or less a program that people pay into to be able to retire.
